Description
A blend of Loureiro and Alvarinho, Maria Papoila Escolha is a terrific white wine from the Vinho Verde region of Portugal and is a blend of the Loureiro and Alvarinho grape varietals. It has a pale yellow color and a very intense aroma, and a tangy, well-structured mouth feel. Good minerality and balanced acidity, with a long lingering finish. “Escholha” means “choice.” This wine is made from the choicest grapes, which gives it a premium flavor.
Serve alone as an aperitif, or pair with Mediterranean cuisine, fish, or seafood.
